A. Personal Identification Information

To use the functionality of ST-Mobile, such as employee self-service, we may process personal information that is provided by your employer (the System Administrator) or entered by you. This may include:

Name and Employee ID
Login credentials
Device Information (ID, model, operating system)

B. Location Data (Geo-Fencing)

Specific Purpose: The ST-Mobile app requires access to your device's location to enable the Check-In and Check-Out features.

How we use it: When you attempt to punch in or out for work, the app collects your precise location data to verify that you are physically present within the allowed Geo-Fenced office area or job site designated by your employer.

This location data is processed at the moment of the attendance transaction. We do not track your location continuously in the background when you are not using the app for attendance purposes, unless explicitly required and enabled by a specific "Track Movement" feature authorized by your organization.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Attendance Verification: To validate that employee attendance punches occur at authorized locations via Geo-Fencing.
App Functionality: To allow employees and managers to perform HR-related tasks (Leave requests, Approvals, etc.).
Security: To prevent fraudulent attendance entries (e.g., checking in from home when required to be at the office).
Support: To troubleshoot issues regarding app performance.

3. Application Permissions

To provide the features described above, ST-Mobile may request the following permissions on your device:

Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Required to verify your position against the Geo-Fence during Check-In/Check-Out.
Internet: To communicate with the Smart Vision servers to sync data.
Network State: To check if the device is connected to the internet.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to outside parties. Your data is strictly used for your organization's internal HR and Time Attendance management.

Data may be shared with:

Your Employer: Attendance logs and location stamps are visible to your HR department and Managers.
Service Providers: We may use third-party services (like Google Maps API) to render maps and process geo-coordinates.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
